Blayney High has a full time Careers Advisor, Ms Donella Zakaria.
The role of the Careers Advisor is to give students and carers or parents the latest information that will help you make decisions about future careers and life beyond school.
Some of the many things the Careers Advisor is able to help with are information about curriculum choice and careers, entry to university, Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), Record of School Achievement (ROSA), tax file numbers, applications for apprenticeships and scholarships for university, volunteering and gap year/exchange options.
Students are encouraged to drop into the Careers Office at any time. Parents are encouraged to make an appointment through the school office on 63682100.
